Some kind of stew for supper.

After the "meal" we have a watch, it is a cold night but it is not raining.

Nuzyael 24, 719: Themeson.

Next morning, the cat is back on Johnson's chest.

We see that two cows and one pig have been slaughtered. A smoke house has been built to preserve meat.

Fennelisa's mace has become smaller. Johnson notices this when Fennelisa threatens him with it after he has begun picking food from her plate.

Morning is spent in physical labour, moving stone in the courtyard and the walls. We help repair the main gate.

We then practice in the North Commons and attract an audience. Johnson's cat is following him around. The cat has a real 'tude.

Caius and Cornelius spot a fellow in the crowd who does not fit in, he also notices them. He appears to be a Jmorvi.

invited in and offered some food. We discuss the matter of the gangs with him. It seems that he has been accosted twice by some gay members... I mean "gang members". He can show us where the bodies are... He tells us that they are not members of the "Family".

It appears that there are at least two gangs operating in the city, mostly composed of mercenaries from out of Harn because they did not speak Harnic.

While continuing our patrol, we feel watched. We discover that there are two, maybe more, people watching us. One is on the rrof of a neighbouring building and the other is following us in the streets. Fennelisa breaks off from the patrol and slips behind the person following them in the street. A misstep and she is seen, the pursuer walks off. The second is easier to catch because we come up on him while he is still on the roof. It seems that he is a young apprentice put to a test by a prospective new master. He has failed when we spotted him. He still did not know how, but we will not let him know about Aki. He says that his name is Sillius and that the man who put him up to it is Fistian, a smith. The same smith that Caius and Cornelius spotted in the crowd.

We leave the poor befuddled apprentice to his own devices but warn him that Legionnaires do not appreciate being followed and that he should let Fistian know that. On the last leg of our patrol, we spot two members of the Tala surrounded by four men. We rush up to interrupt what appears to be a combat. The four men are Ivinians who had been hired by the Agrikans but were left behind when the Agrikans retreated (it was TACTICAL). They have no money and were told by the Agrikans that they have to fend for themselves.

Apparently the Ivinians have spoken with the Agrikans recently. They are holed up in a copse of wood just outside of town. The Ivinians say that there are about 26 Agrikans with 8 priests. The Ivinians are owed 2 months of pay at 15d per tenday. We send Aki to watch over the Agrikan camp. She finds the camp easily enough but has to cross some wards to approach.

We bring the Ivinians back with us and report to Blarius. He assigns a Legionnaire who speaks Ivivnian with us and asks that we keep the Ivinians around to help in fighting the Agrikans. The Ivinians are now working for Tharda.

Nuzyael 25, 719: Themeson.

Cornelius is awoken by Aki when 4 Agrikan Knights on horses leave the camp. We wake up the Tala and they head out. About two hours later they set up an ambush and square off against the Knights. The Tala comes out winners due to their superior tactics and mobility. One member is seriously injured.

The day is spent in regular duties and passes quickly. We have watch duty at night.

Nuzyael 26, 719: Themeson.

Cornelius gets two reports from Aki about men leaving the Agrikan camp.

When we wake up we see that baths have been prepared along with sib and oatcakes.

Fennelisa's mace hace shrunk even more.

We have repair duty in the morning.

Aki sees two men leaving the Agrikan camp with a cart, they are heading towards town.

They are seen at the Inn of the Three Daughters.

We leave to head them off, with us are the four Ivinians, Klodas, the Legionnaire who speaks Ivinian and two members of the Tala, Loissa and Parsevil. When we catch up with them they are two local boys. One seems scared at the prospect of having been caught but the other tries to bluff it out.

When we inquire about this food run for the Agrikans to the Innkeeper, he says that he has been supplying them for a little while. We offer to take any excess food that he would have off his hands. Fennelisa buys Ale (25d), 20 lbs of Rye (24d) and Bacon (10d), for a total of 59d to go into the common pot.
