Mining, Abandoned Mines, and Natural Caves; three aspects of the underground that players may explore during their adventures. First article, Mining, is helpful to GM and PC, telling how to prospect, removing ore, how much time it takes, and how much refined ore is removed. The second article, Abandoned Mines, provides some guidance and tables for GMs to generate an abandoned mine for PC to explore. The third article, Natural Caves Complex, does the same for generating a random cave complex.
Underground 2 is an aid to Underground 3, two spreadsheet pages that randomly roll up tunnels. The archive package also contains Encounters, spreadsheets of the HM3 encounter tables; by copying any cell, or group of cells, and pasting them back into exactly the same cells, it will randomly roll up encounters, and hopefully speeds up your ability to prepare for your campaigns.
