Ridow has been an object of fascination to lovers of HarnWorld since it was first published in the original HarnDex published in 1983. The idea of an alien city hidden under the ocean waves, just sitting there, waiting to be found…a tantalising enigma. What might be found there? Who or what might still be living there? What fabulous devices/treasures/knowledge might lie in the city more than 20 fathoms below the surface?
So naturally, writers have developed a variety of ideas for Ridow, and a few of there are presented here for your delight.

This is about the underwater Earthmaster city of Ridow, and what follows is one possible description of the city.
The city has four airlocks and one is attached to the tunnel leading to Gyzem island. Once you enter you will see a very tall tower reaching up until it touches the very top of a shimmering translucent dome. The dome is circular, is over 1600’ high at the center, and laid out in the form of a spoked wheel with a bridge extending from the center of the tower to the dome wall. Below the bridges are large areas of land where animals wander about.
There is a lot of area to explore; onward and happy hunting.

Ridow is the most mysterious and legendary of all the Earthmaster sites on Harn. Only a handful of people have even heard the legend of this lost city, its location is known to no one. Will a party of adventurers stumble across it accidentally, not knowing what it is? And if they manage to enter the city, what will they find? Are there any Earthmasters left on Kethira? What treasures will the city have, and how will they be defended?
