A General Timeline of Hârnic Religion

This timeline is a complement to the General History of Hârnic Religion located elsewhere on the HRT General Issues page. It is not intended to be a comprehensive list of every event in Hârn's religious history, but is instead meant to be provide a short list some of most important dates in that history. Because Hârn's religious history is bound up with that of continental Lythia, a handful of the dates cited below refer to events that took place on the continent rather than in Hârn proper.

c. 15,000 BT	Departure of the Earthmasters.
c. 13,000 BT	Possible arrival of Ilvir on Hârn.
c. 10,000 BT	Siem and the Sindarin arrive on Hârn.
c. 6900 BT	Siem and most Sindarin depart for the Blessed Realm; arrival of the Khuzdul.
c. 2700 BT	Flourishing of Melderyn's 'Henge Culture'.
c. 1500 BT	Founding of Agrikan church in east-central Lythia.
c. 1300 BT	The Jarin arrive on Hârn; Ilvir becomes their primary deity.
c. 1250 BT	Ilviran temple founded near Arone.
c. 1100 BT	The Jarin arrive in Melderyn, bringing Ilvir & Siem worship with them. Jarin habitations at Araka-Kalai.
c. 900 BT	Atani Wars begin.
c. 800 BT	Kemlar the Guide leads the Kubora, Urdu, and Equani west out of Nuthela.
c. 780 BT	Agrikan bands arrive in Hârn.
c. 750 BT	Founding of Navehan church in eastern Lythia.
c. 690 BT	Navehans arrive in Hârn.
683 BT	The Battle of Sorrows; Hârn's 'Dark Age' begins.
c. 600 BT	Unification of Peonian church in Lythia.
c. 500 BT	Beginning of Eldritch Period in Melderyn; exploration of Kelestia.
480 BT	Tondran appears at Anisha, establishes Mendar priesthood.
c. 425 BT	Peonian missionaries arrive in Hârn.
c. 350 BT	Foundation of the Ilviran Order of the Ochre Womb at Araka-Kalai.
c. 300 BT	Melderyn's 'Five Kingdoms' period; growth of Laranism on Melderyn; Laranian missionaries in mainland Hârn.
c. 250 BT	Foundation of Morgathian church in Azeryan.
227 BT	Unification of Laranian church in Trierzon.
c. 160 BT	Founding of Sarajinian 'church' in Ivinia.
c. 100 BT	Morgathians arrive in Hârn.
1 TR	Founding of unified Kingdom of Melderyn.
3 TR	Erebir's Proscription Affirmation: churches of Morgath, Naveh, and Agrik banned in Melderyn.
96 TR	Lothrim becomes supreme warchief of the Chelni and begins to conquer surrounding regions; establishes 'capital' at Elkall-Anuz.
c. 115 TR	Nala-Uroh writes the Libram of the Pantheon at Elkall-Anuz.
120 TR	Collapse of Lothrim's Empire; Melderyn begins to take an interest in the affairs of mainland Hârn.
155 TR	Founding of Kingdom of Elorinar.
160 TR	Founding of Kingdom of Chybisa.
188 TR	Founding of Kingdom of Kaldor.
c. 200 TR	Laranism dominant in eastern Hârn; churches of Agrik, Naveh, and Morgath banned in Kaldor, Chybisa, and Elorinar.
223 TR	Elorinar peacefully annexed by Melderyn.
c. 250 TR	Founding of Halean church in Karejia (then a province of the Azeryan Empire).
318 TR	Founding of Coranan.
c. 410 TR	Halean missionaries arrive in Hârn.
465 TR	Founding of the Laranian order of the Spear of Shattered Sorrow in Melderyn.
477 TR	Morgathians exhume Kuboran barrows at Kustan; Kuboran revolts.
485 TR	Saurach, an Agrikan fanatic, becomes Corani Emperor.
489 TR	Saurach makes Agrikanism the official religion of the Corani Empire.
491 TR	Saurach issues the Unification Writ proscribing all churches other than that of Agrik, but is murdered shortly thereafter.
528 TR	Shorka becomes Corani emperor; Workol begins running the Empire.
558 TR	Balsha killed by order of Medak, the last Corani emperor; beginning of the Balshan Jihad.
565 TR	Coranan falls to the Jihad; end of the Corani Empire; non-Morgathian temples in Coranan razed.
568 TR	Foundation of the Theocracy of Tekhos; all non-Morgathian churches proscribed.
572 TR	Theocracy captures Aleath; the Aleathian Odyssey; possible introduction of Halean and Peonian rituals among the Adaenum.
574 TR	Founding of the Agrikan orders of Mamaka the Master of Steel and Warriors of Mameka in Rethem.
575 TR	Founding of the Laranian fighting order of the Lady of Paladins in Melderyn.
588 TR	Fall of the Theocracy of Tekhos; the Interregnum in Tharda and northern Rethem; the Golothan Theocracy takes power in southern Rethem.
589 TR	Establishment of Kingdom of Kanday.
593 TR	Establishment of the Laranian order of Hyvrik in Aleath (now Kanday).
604 TR	Agrikan orders of the Pillar of Fire and Companions of Roving Doom founded in northern Rethem; they begin construction of a keep at Arketh.
621 TR	Agrikan Orders of the Fuming Gate and the Copper Hook founded in northern Rethem. Establishment of Coranan Republic.
622 TR	Founding of the Laranian fighting order of the Checkered Shield in Kanday.
623 TR	Agrikan Orders of Herpa the Mace and the Red Shadows of Herpa founded in Rethem.
625 TR	Establishment of Shiran Republic.
629 TR	Arlun invades northern Rethem with a Kuboran army.
632 TR	The Companions of the Roving Doom agree to aid Arlun in his conquest of Rethem.
635 TR	Arlun conquers Golothan Theocracy and founds Kingdom of Rethem; Morgathianism is proscribed in Rethem; Agrikans gain power in Rethem.
636 TR	Establishment of Thardic League.
638 TR	Agrikan Orders of the Kukshin and the Crimson Dancer founded in Rethem.
641 TR	Order of the Copper Hook swears fealty to King Arlun of Rethem.
650 TR	Arlun restores religious freedom to the Morgathians.
652 TR	Ivinians conquer Sherwyn Keep in Jara, bringing worship of Sarajin to Hârn.
658 TR	Destruction of Oranoam's original Ilviran temple near Arone.
c. 660 TR	Establishment of Heptarchial Council in Golotha.
664 TR	Heretical Navehans enter Pagaelin territory.
667 TR	Brigyde's mission to the Kamaki.
672 TR	Nemiran, a devout Agrikan, becomes king of Rethem.
674 TR	Establishment of Thardic Republic.
676 TR	All coastal keeps in Jara conquered by Ivinians.
680 TR	King Nemiran of Rethem agrees to sponsor the orders of the Octagonal Pit and Demon Pameshlu in Rethem; construction begins on Pamesani arenas in Golotha and Shostim.
681 TR	King Nemiran of Rethem re-organizes Rethem on feudal lines, giving substantial holdings to Agrikan fighting orders.
682 TR	Beginning of 'Ezar's War' between Agrikan Rethem and Laranian Kanday.
686 TR	Foundation of Ilviran order of Chuchlaen Wheelwright at Gedan.
690 TR	Agrikan Order of Mamaka the Master of Steel becomes dominant Agrikan order by effecting an alliance with the Morgathians. Sarajinian missionaries begin converting Chelni.
697 TR	Peace of Selvos ends of Ezar's War, with substantial gains by the Laranians of Kanday; the Company of the Copper Hook refuses to recognize the peace.
700 TR	Melkea Arkane, grandmistress of the Agrikan Order of the Kukshin, becomes the lover of King Alegar I of Orbaal.
701 TR	Orders of the Kukshin & Crimson Dancer move from Rethem to Orbaal; Crimson Dancer seizes Quimen keep; beginning of the Jarin Rebellion (701-703).
708 TR	Red Shadows of Herpa (Rethem) seizes Themeson keep from the Thardic Republic.
710 TR	Kukshin/Crimson Dancer (Orbaal) sends missionaries to Ivinia.
714 TR	Schism among Herpa the Mace & Red Shadows of Herpa, resulting in the foundation of the Eight Demons and the Cohorts of Gashang.
718 TR	Party of Agrikan 'crusaders' from Bedenes attack Kustan and are slaughtered by the Kuborans.
