Reintroducing Myself

#1 Post by Streamweaver » Thu Jan 04, 2018 2:07 pm

Hello all. Dropping a (re)introduction here. I used to be quiet active in table top gaming and particularly in Harn years ago but am coming back to the hobby. I'm in the North-West end of Richmond if there are any Harn fans out there. Been reconnecting mostly through Marcus' Harn Discord and Roll20. I created a 3rd Edition Harn character sheet in Roll20 that was just accepted and included in the sheets list this week. It's called Harn (simple) or something like that. I hope the community finds it interesting. I'm also working on some Angular based tools for running my Roll20 Harn game and will update folks here when something is ready to show.

Is that Richmond London, Richmond Yorkshire or Richmond Virginia (or somewhere else in the States)? Also, welcome back.

Virginia. I usually think to post that but it was late at night here and it appears in my location.

He could have also been in Richmond, Ontario or Richmond, BC, in Canada...

But Virginia it is...

Unlike adobe dreamweaver which like me, is merely a web tool.

My surname is Webb. Come on! Work with me!

If there’s a right tool for this job, it’s probably Peter.

Beware, Peter; the term "tool" has perhaps a quite different colloquial meaning on this side of the pond. Or perhaps that was the joke... ;)

Ummm...yeah.... I am from this side of the pond :). Hence the self deprecating nomenclature and punning...

Something got lost in translation, clearly. We no return you to your regularly scheduled tan(pun?)gential thread hijacking.

Great to find you here Streamweaver.... I still remember dying horribly twice in your HM1 campaign back in the day... ;) Glad to have you here. Thanks for the Roll20 HM sheet. I tried it the other day and it looks wonderful...

Did I kill you? I don't recall killing a whole lot of PCs, but I guess it happened. I've been away from gaming from maybe a decade or more but it's been fun getting back into it. I'm glad the Roll20 sheet seems to be well received, and it seems to be generating some interest in Harn there.

My Odivshe mage bled out after having a hand severed when we were jumped by Navehan priests in the Ramala Gap. Then my Laranian Knight had to go PvP with the Agrikan in the party. Neither was a case of Player v. GM. More a demonstration of the Gritty nature of HM1...

Ran my first game in a decade or so tonight and I almost killed folks with Arikian warriors (one an Odivshe mage) in honor of you! :)
