How long does it take to get an account and any suggestions on characters? Any group of Kath barbarians?

Problem solved. The account setup email went to the posters Junk folder. Happens! Good to check your junk folder now and then when expecting an email.

YES....as I am a relatively new rpg player (who has never even played D&D) i am attracted to HARN and have been purchasing CG materials over past few months. To get in the groove so to speak I am also reading some good medieval fantasy (started with Pillars of Earth)....and also got introduced to Harshlands, which I love.

I tend to play for few days...then set aside and come back few weeks later it seems...

Anyhow right now I am trying to perfect art of purchasing, feeding, and raising chickens. Next I need to figure out where I'm going to sell the eggs I harvest...but that's for another day.
Not really good with interacting (as in standard rpg world)...but I'll get there.

Because it's text based it's a bit slow for many of today's generation....being old and grey... I LOVE IT!

Why did you ask?

Re: Anyone playing Harshlands? & Kath Barbarians>>>

Funny... I saw a group online other day who were playing a HARN adventure live during online sessions and there was room for couple of "Kath Barbarians".....

I found registration for HARSHLANDS fairly straightforward....Had to create my character according to certain guidelines...but with a little re-write here and there....I got it done.

Hope you are now enjoying game....

Are you getting good direction?

The poster has not returned to this topic but yes they were able to login to their account, once they found the email in their junk folder, and created a character. :)

I have not been online in a few days. I'm close to where I need to be. Will try my best not to get lost next time I log on.

for BLACKHORDE...
(1) Am getting quite "good" at "tend chickens" and collecting eggs and then selling in "Enter hawking-market"
(2) Have also perfected "breed pair-chickens" with 4 hens and am awaiting to see what the now "contented chickens" will do...
(3) Also when they return to "clucking hens" I will try to get some more eggs for sale...
BLESS that little rooster.... he has earned his feed...

Think I may next attempt to do some messenger service in Tashal to earn some money...
then back to farming duties....

Please watch for "TED" in game...he needs some help learning the role-play aspect.
