I was recently billed by CGI for the 'new' Tharda, can it be soon? One can only hope so....

Tharda is my last hope for CGI. If they could present the realm in a comprehensive, interesting and illustrative manner true to the original Hârn, possibly with something essentially new, I might come back and actually buy their products again.

Per the email sent out by CGI announcing this (discussed over here), this is not a new treatment of the Thardic Republic. The original version has been out of print for some time and this Hârn Classics release simply gets that material back in print and available to those who don't already have it. It certainly is not what you describe above.

I recieved an email from CGI saying that they have shipped a package to me. I'm thinking that this was a generic email saying that Tharda has been shipped already.

I like the fact I now have tracking information. My copy went through LA yesterday.

I doubt it has a color like the New Kingdoms as this Tharda is just a reprint of the original. There is nothing in the pipeline as far as we have heard regarding a redone Tharda. I think that's a few years done the road... check in in 5.

In the email announcing Tharda, it was mentioned it would ship with a binder like Kanday, Kaldor and Rethem, thus it would conceivably include a label.

Right, this is not just a reprint of the original. The text is the same, but it has a new full-color layout and some new heraldry. It is being shipped in a binder (with a burgundy cover sheet) so that new pages can be swapped in when the settlements are expanded at some point in the future (one per page like the Kaldor, Kanday, and Rethem kingdom modules). The package includes a copy of the original Tharda Republic map.

It varies, but the standard is to wait until the last of the subscribers receives their copy. I'd say probably not before next weekend.

Has anyone (everyone?) else in the US received this yet? I wouldn't think there would be a huge variation on shipping times...

It is available now on DriveThruRPG and RPGNow.

Edit: I may have spoken too soon, as the links don't seem to be working now.

My package appears to have gone on an incredible journey, as it left Blaine for the sort facility in Kent and then to Jamaica (?!)... oh, New York, cross country in the opposite direction and that is where the tracking report currently ends. It's kinda funny when you consider it's just gonna come back within 50 km of it's starting point. Oh, if only mail could tell stories of their journeys.

Last report of mine was on the 27th at LAX. I guess that means it's in the air on the way to the UK. Not sure if the tracking will work when it gets this side of the pond.

I got mine in northern California (north of Sacramento) Monday. I came home from work Monday night, and there it was.

So, they are arriving!

Obviously not since it just arrived at my door and the last entry on the tracker site is still LAX.

I even got mine in far away Norway yesterday. Looks great.I especially like the new Heraldry. Hopefully we will se a few Harnclassic articles from Tharda within the next few years to fill the Binder. Perhaps I can be so bold as to hope for Imrium or Firis within the same timeframe.

My hope is that people don't just wait for canon articles to fill this binder. I would like to see more fanon articles about the Republic. If anyone has any ideas or works-in-progress and wants editing and layout help, I'd be happy to help.

Do we have an up to date list of published articles, Canon and Fanon? Is that what the Harnwiki was supposed to achieve?

From memory, locations in Tharda that have been looked at are:

Coranan
Shiran
Telen
Geshtei
Taztos
Moleryn

All these will, presumably, be republished at some point as part of the HarnClassic line.

... and Hikun; if you file it in Tharda, as I do.

Yes, the purpose of the HarnClassics line is to make all the out-of-print articles available again, both in print and PDF formats. So, eventually, all of those articles will be available again. It's really just a question of how long it takes to redo the maps and plans.

The product is back up again at both these locations. It consists of two PDFs. One is a 36-page book and the other is a scan of the original Tharda map.
