Sounds like a reworking of past articles. Leave Canon as Canon.....

I thought Harn classic is just a reprint of the old material, without any changes!?

That's right. Aside from formatting them to match the current style, these are reprints. However, as the original material is often no longer available (except on e-bay, etc), the point is to get them back in print in a modern format that can be kept in print (remember, the originals were not done electronically).

They're still canon, just much easier to obtain, and available as PDF too.

One benefit of this is that you don't need to keep these in sheet protectors! Once you have the PDF you can spill coffee on a printout or mangle the holes in an overstuffed binder and it's no big deal - you just print out a replacement whenever you need it. :D

CGI maintains a separate list for HarnClassics.
HarnQuest subscribers hear about HQs, and HarnClassic subscribers hear about HCs.
Considering how many HQ subscribers have at best a random selection of the old material, they probably should send the announcement email without shipping the product. At least then they'd know about the product releases.

The US letter size paper with holes for 3-ring binders was an annoyance at first when I bought HM Magic and Religion, but I bought some plastic sleeves with holes for pretty much any binder type. The only thing is the letter size paper is not as tall as the sleeves, but it's only an aesthetic problem.

Thanks.

Do the HC articles become available separately later, like HQ does?

Once I get the final okay from CGI, they will be posted on DriveThru as separate articles. Fingers crossed it will be next week.

According to CGI's Dicey Business: HarnWorld Newsletter "6 HARN ARTICLES BACK IN PRINT", they also are posted on http://www.columbiagames.com/ if people want to buy paper versions.

Is Real Estate also online, or print-only?
