Last time I was there, it was a toss-up as to which was worse, Kandahar or Jalalabad. How does KAF stack up after your time at JAF?

JAF: better climate, no open $#@! pond smell, a lot less dust, everything within walking distance, better B-huts

KAF: damn good pay (civilian now), better chow halls, living in a tent though. best friend from Germany tour (86-88) is over here now with his reserve unit, so currently KAF is better.
