Where in Metro Boston?
I live on the South Shore (way down in Plymouth)
and I work in Lexington.

I'm in Cambridge - couldn't find any games near (enough) me so I'm playing online.

Three is probably enough plus a GM. My game is full up at five, but there's got to be someone else in the area. 8)

Are you finding players to come to Cambridge?
Or if you would travel to a game, how far can you get from Cambridge for a game, and what nights are good or bad for you?

Yes, I'm working on Cambridge or close by.

I would travel to a game, but to get out to your area would take a couple hours (subway + rail); not realistic during the week, and still onerous on the weekend. Do you know of something in between?

The search continues...

I'd love to get involved with a Hârn game. I'm in Danvers, but work in Marlborough so anywhere within a reasonable distance of either would work.

Make the effort to get together face to face in Boston, while you can. The Greater Boston is a wonder land for Harn. I don't know why there is such a high concentration of Harn players around Boston, but there is.

That's a heck of a commute! It's like my Plymouth to Lexington drive. No wonder it's so hard to find time to play - we're always in the car!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of my commute, but my wife works in Swampscott, so the middle ground between the two is hard to find.

Hopefully I can get in on a game. I'm still exploring the world and would love to get some play experience in with more knowledgeable people.

Are you near The Hub?

I think between John and I, we may have rounded up enough people to start a game! I'm working on headcount now and will be in touch with everyone who has expressed interest soon. Yeah!

It shouldn't be much of a problem to get to Plymouth from Cambridge, if you have a car. I made it from Belmont to Plymouth in 59 minuets once.

I've been consumed by a new job and a completely booked October. I'm hoping to get back to looking at this seriously on November 1.

You know if nothing else, it sounds like we have enough people to meet up for an interesting evening of drinks.

Might I propose Casablanca in Harvard Square with a date TBD?

I can get into town for any Mon - Thurs, but not Fri-Sun.
How about either Jasper White's or Bertucci's at Alewife? That's accessible by Red Line and easy by car. Harvard Square, while certainly more interesting, is much more of an ordeal to drive to on a weeknight.
Or... I'd be happy to host a mini-event at my club in Plymouth, where we had HarnCon II. That could be any evening except a Friday or Saturday.

I've been slowly crawling my way back to reality... Yeah, a GTG is probably a good idea (as I'm not foolish enough to think I can start up a game in the holiday season - scheduling nightmare). I'm in Cambridge, so any of the locations mentioned are okay with me.

maybe a pick up game with pregens and small objectives to give anyone interested a taste of the game. Other than reading the rules and what not I have not rolled a die in ernest in Harn.
